A very good place to start.

When you read you begin with A B C, when you sing you being with Do Re Mi.

When you take part in Blog every day of June you start with June 1.

Saw Julie Andrews last night. at Hamer Hall.

She did not sing.

It was billed as ‘An evening with Julie Andrews’ and all the publicity made it very clear that Ms Andrews would not be singing she would be in conversation with Nicholas Hammond (who played the eldest Von Trapp boy in the Sound of Music).

But that was last night – the 31st of May.

Today I had my usual Saturday morning routine.

Breakfast in Deepdene, followed by painful physio on Humpty* (aka shoulder of doom)

Then faffing about at home  (also known as avoiding housework)

Tonight it’s back to the theatre – this time the Comedy Theatre to see Magnormos’ production of Flower Children. It’s the story of the Mamas & the Papas.

Casey Donovan plays Mama Cass.

Can’t wait.
