Bookrags is a site for students.

It describes itself thus:BookRags is the premier research site for students, with over 5.8 million pages of literature summaries, biographies, literary criticism, essays, encyclopedias, and eBooks sourced from over 100 respected education databases.”

It look especially good until you dig further into it. I searched for The Kite runner and got what looked like a great study pack  – chapter summaries, critical essays, reviews, themes etc. I could get a brief abstract of each of these but to get the full study guide I had pay for access (not bad I guess) – the free content tended to link you to wikipedia and other such free sites.

With bookrags you can also sign up for lesson plans.

Bookrags is a good resource but you do need to pay for ‘advanced’ content.
