Booktagger is an australian version of librarything, shelfari, goodreads etc.

Each Booktagger profile is a graphical representation of your physical bookshelf on the internet. The bookshelf can then be shared with friends, family and others searching for the next good read.

Basically you search the database by author, title, isbn, tag and then drag the bookcover to one of several ‘shelves’. Books I am reading, Books I have read, Books I have lent, and so on. You can also (if you want to) buy the books online from Abbeys Bookshop in Sydney (one of my favourite bookshops) You can also set up, or join, and online bookgroup. I guess it’s too early to tell how successful it’s going to be but at the moment it looks good…
